    After experiencing problems with my boiler's pilot light flashing off and on for the past few days, I decided to give advanced boilers and hydronic heating a call. I was so amazed at how timely they were! Within 15 minutes of me calling for technical support, a technician was pulling up to my house to take a look at my boiler and diagnose the problem.     After spending a couple of hours trying to troubleshoot my boiler, I decided to give Advanced Boilers & Hydronic Heating a call to see if they could help. To my surprise they were able to offer same day service and had their technician Chris, dispatched to my residence in under an hour. I could not believe it! What was even better was that Chris was able to diagnose the problem shortly after he also tried troubleshooting the boiler, and as it turned out I was in need of an upgrade. I had no idea that a boiler’s life expectancy is on average about 10 years and mine was well overdue for an upgrade. Chris walked me through the process of a replacement heater by upgrading my electric boiler to a more energy efficient one saving me money in the long run and at the same time keeping my cost of a replacement supper affordable as well. I am so pleased I called Advanced Boilers & Hydronic Heating! They know their stuff and take care of the customer no matter what it takes.     We discovered a slow leak from the bottom of our boiler on Saturday evening. Found Advanced Boilers and Hydronic Heating and decided to call them because of the high rating. I called on Sunday morning and Chris answered the phone. He was extremely courteous and answered all of my questions. I was very comfortable with the triangle tube boiler he would be installing to replace Lochinvar boiler. He was able to come out that morning to install the boilerr and haul away our old one. He covered all of the flooring from our front entrance door to the location of the boiler in our lower level. He cleaned up the work area and left it looking like it did before he did the installation. We will definitely be using Advanced Boilers for our future plumbing needs and will recommend them to our friends and family.

    I had gotten some work done from these guys a few years back. They had previously helped me get my boiler working again when it had stopped. They said it was a good idea to always get it serviced every so often so I had them come out again. I have to say they were just as good as last time.     They did an excellent job our boiler!  Not only are they trustworthy here but they are hard working too!  Plus on top of both of those things, they will make sure to get you in super fast if you request it.  Thanks to Mike he made our lives much easier.  Mike was super knowledgeable about our boiler system and made me feel a lot better about having him work on it.  There are a lot of people who can't do repairs to boilers out there.  So you just have to make sure you do your research so you can find someone who can do the job right.     Mike, the technician, was absolutely fantastic! It was routine, preventative maintenance visit but he was very patient and explained the basics of what we needed to do/watch out for in the future. This was our first experience with servicing the boiler in our home and having the details explained raised our awareness for the future. Very impressed by Advanced Boilers and we've already had them out again to give us a quote on a replacement (again, super happy with Chris who came out for that).

    Three years ago we hired a contractor to replace an aging boiler with a tankless water heater to provide both radiant heat and domestic hot water. That company is no longer in business and I had frequent service calls because I couldn't keep our house warm. Chris' first service call occurred when we had neither heat nor hot water and no one else was willing to come out to make the repair. Eventually, we decided some modifications were in order. Chris provided photos and schematic drawings to patiently explain what he would do and why. His work was done timely, proficiently and with minimal disruption to my household. We are currently considering a second phase to minimize the lag time inherent in my tankless unit and I am convinced that if I elect to proceed I will receive the same quality level of workmanship.

    Chris was a referral from a guy at a heating/AC store, and was a fantastic discovery.  He is one of the few people who work on these old hydronic systems, and knows them like the back of his hand.  He came in and assesed the existing, very inefficient oil-driven boiler system that we had in place, and told us what he would need to do to upgrade us to a natural gas system.  He provided an estimate in a couple of days, as well as some suggestions for potential upgrades that we might be interested in, such as hydronic floor heating in our enclosed porch, and a toe-kick heater in our under-equipped, newly remodelled and expanded kitchen area.  No hard sell, just suggestions, and was fully content when we decided to hold off.  He also recommended to leave certain things electric, because in his experience, they would serve us better that way.  This is notable because it cut down what he would make on the job.  To work on our system, Chris of course had to drain the water out.  We wanted to sand-blast and repaint our old radiators, and that was the optimal time to do so.  Chris took care of it, reinstalled the radiators, and then checked/replaced the valves, etc.  Chris quickly and efficiently changed out the necessary equipment.  This involved re-piping some of the areas, and bringing pipes through floors where somebody else had put linoleum over the pipes.  Additionally, we had Chris bring hydronic heat back up to our 3rd floor (it had been there many years ago, but then they converted it to electric.)  Additionally, we had him convert our fireplace from wood-burning to gas, and had him bring a gas valve outside for our future plans.  Because we are clueless, we have called him a number of times regarding questions that we have had about fine-tuning the system.  He has always responded within a reasonable time frame.  All in all, it has been a great experience.
